Gear lever lock Toyota RAV 4 2019 / 2125W
Description
Bearlock gear lever lock is a mechanical anti-theft device that is installed in a hard-to-reach place in the center console of a car.
The lever lock mechanically blocks the car's gear shift lever or gear lever.
The device can be installed on all common cars with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Unlike other common mechanical anti-theft systems, Bearlock does not significantly spoil the appearance of the car's interior because the entire system is hidden under the center console!
A professionally installed gear lever lock makes it very, very difficult to steal a car because the lock is fixed to the car body. Removing it is of course possible, but very cumbersome and time-consuming, and the car thief will most likely choose a car that does not have the corresponding device.
There is a model-specific device for each car brand (for over 1,000 different car brands).
While in previous years Bearlock only produced locks with a locking rod (to lock the gear lever, the rod must be pushed into the slot), today there are new mechanisms on sale that only require pressing the locking mechanism to lock, there is no protruding pin!
For all locks (both with and without a rod), the car must be in reverse gear (manual transmission cars) or in the “parking” position (automatic transmission cars) to lock the gear lever.
